Reunion in Budapest

Return of the Monarchy

Szabi, you did it. I am sure it wasn' t, but you finally brought more than twenty Erasmi together to discover your country, at least Budapest, to celebrate Silvester and to meet eachother after six months break - big respect.
Geri and you organized, prepared and planed with hard effort some beautiful days in Ilona panzio. I am really looking forward seeing you again for skiing in Austria over February.

Thanks to everybody who was in Budapest too (or should I say "as well" ;-) ), it was great to meet you again - I hope to see you all somehow, somewhere again. It was fascinating to see, that even a half year break couldn't interrupt our friendship!!!

Korfball Worldchampionships in Brno, CZ

Ask me for the best attitudes of sports students and I'd tell you:
enthusiastic like crazy, always easy to motivate, party mood, a.s.o

That means that a group of seven sports students of the University of Graz, went to Brno in Czech Republic to watch the World Championships in Korfball. An interesting sport I never heard of before, but just imagine it like a mixed (male & female Players) basketball game without boards behind the basket. ;-) I guess everybody is confused after my explaination now, but just look for korfball on youtube and you will see how it works.

Anyway, we spent a weekend there - Friday evening going out in Brno. We were in a club called "Mandarin", which was great (my typical britsen-word ;-) ). As far as I remeber, there were lot of interesting and good-looking people and really nice party music. After a pretty short sleep, we went to the korfball finals and met some members of the IKF (intern. Korfabll Federation), which asked us to establish that specific sport in Austria, cause so far nobody is familiar with it.

After that meeting we watched the finals and could even do some networking. In the evening, we left more than tired the location to return to Austria.

We already decided to return to Czech Republic for sure! ;-)

Hej guys, hope you're doing fine. I guess everybody is quite busy right now, but still prepares him-/herself for our reunion in Budapest in december.

So far, I am still studying, as probably all of us Erasmi. This semester I am taking part in a small group of sports students, which support a 1st division basketball team in Austria. We're making physical tests, give advices in training lessons and try to handle a nutrition program for around 15 athletes. Pretty exciting and much interesting work to do.

Some weekends ago, I spent 3 days with Sibi in the southern part of Austria, which is called Kärnten. Here I'd like to give some impressions I got and took pictures of:

South Sails

Hello again. Here some more, and the last, news from my summer holidays. As most of you already knew, some friends of mine and I, we started a sailing trip from the western coast of Italy to the islands Elba, Corsica and Giglio.
We had a lot of fun - it was exciting, relaxing and even challenging. The weather was almost perfect and the trip was a well balanced mixture of sporty sailing with wind speed up to 100km/h and lazy cruising, laying in the sun and taking bathing stops on lonley beaches.

To conclude I'd like to say that we had one of our best holidays together and we'd love to repeat this kind of summer activities again - it's maybe ;-)

Pra delle Torri

Tjena! A beautiful campsite, where my family and I spend some weeks every year. A typical, usual daylife activity is, how comes, playing beachvolleyball with some friends, I know from former years. They come from all over Europe - almost all of us meet every year at this wonderful place - and some new join as well.

The campsite's area is huge. There spend more than eight thousand people their vacation - it's more like a small village with bars, restaurants, sport camps, than a campsite. And there exist some more relaxing places too!

This year, about 15 other people joined us from Graz, like my relatives and some other friends. We celebrated the 85th birthday of one of us. Some Italien wine, excellent food and playing the guitar in the evenings - always a nice memory ;-)

At the moment I am working at the university - some introduction days for beginners - next week some friends and I will start for our sailing trip at the western coast of Italy.
